Requirements for the Canoe Rental

• You must be at least 18 years old with a valid ID card to rent a canoe from Diverse Rentals
• All guests (even minors) must complete and sign a waiver

• Dog Life Vest Rental – $10 first day, $5 each day after
• Canoe Cart Rental / Canoe Dolly Rental – $10/day

Popular Canoeing Hot Spots

Rotary Park – Penetanguishene (Water St). On Georgian Bay (bigger part of the bay), keep close to shore and head up the bay. Approximately 7km up is Discovery Harbour / Kings Wharf Theatre and the tall ships. Parking may be extra.

Kettle Lake – Awenda Provincial Park. 670 Awenda Park Road and follow signs. Smaller lake with beautiful surroundings. Parking may be extra.

Little Lake – Midland. 660 Little Lake Rd, Midland. Smaller lake with free parking.

**It is NOT SAFE to rent a canoe in order to go to Beausoleil Island and cross the gap as this is extremely dangerous**

Please Note

Canoe Rentals start as early as 9am and must be returned by 5pm (or earlier) on the day of return.
